About Bia Labate, PhD:
Dr. Bia Labate (Beatriz Caiuby Labate) is an anthropologist, educator, creator, speaker, and activist, dedicated to the safety of sacred crops whereas amplifying the voices of marginalized communities within the psychedelic science area. As a queer Brazilian anthropologist based mostly in San Francisco, she has been profoundly influenced by her experiences with ayahuasca since 1996.
