The Apple Retailer Will Solely Let You Test Out Two iPhone Duos

Apple is limiting the variety of iPhone Duo items you may pre-order to 2 per buyer, not simply within the US, but in addition in different areas all over the world. We have tried including greater than two items to our cart on the Apple Shops for Japan, Spain and the UK, along with the US, and we have acquired a warning discover throughout all the web shops. The notification stated: “A most of two iPhone Duo may be bought per buyer. Please modify the full amount of iPhone Duo in your order earlier than trying out.” It did not matter what configuration we tried to buy — we obtained the identical warning if we had greater than two items in our cart.

As MacRumors reviews, it isn’t clear when Apple put the restrict in place. In response to folks on Reddit’s iPhone Duo group, some clients have been in a position to place an order for greater than two when the corporate began taking pre-orders on October 16. It is also unclear if and the way the corporate is stopping scalpers from shopping for greater than two items by creating a number of accounts and utilizing completely different bank cards. That Apple is implementing a purchase order restrict would not come as a shock. It beforehand stated that the demand for the iPhone Duo was “nothing wanting extraordinary,” and it needed to push again delivery dates to 2027 quickly after pre-orders began.

Certain sufficient, all of the shops we have checked present a delivery estimate of January 22, so you’ll in all probability have to attend till subsequent yr if you have not pre-ordered yours but. Finest Purchase remains to be exhibiting us a November 10 pick-up and delivery date for the 512GB Duo and December 14 for the 256GB.
